![]() ![]() ![]() I was looking at a kit of stuff today and there was an early Vivitar zoom lens, somewhere in the range of 70 - 200, slim design, but it had a lever on the focus ring - like a movie camera lens. I have loads of stuff that I have to get rid of, if you see me commenting about something I have got and you want one, ask me. But I didn't take much notice of the Vivitar zoom, and now it intrigues me. I've got the 50 / 1.7 already, and plenty of 28's, The whole lot is £50, which is probably a decent enough price if I hadn't got the Rokkor 50. The kit was nice, there's a Minolta SRT 101 in nice condition with a 50 / 1.7 PF lens, a Vivitar 28 / 2.5 which I think is M12 or M13 on "THE GREAT VIVITAR 28MM BESTIARY" - and there's a flash and the usual stuff in the bag as well. I managed to forget the exact range and speed of the lens but I'm sure someone here will have some ideas as to what it might be? I would say it's a late 1960's early 70's lens - same era as the SRT 101 it's with.
